Beyond Human Power Movie

In October, Anna-Lisa Jones, Business Development Manager of the Wolf Spirit Films, invited Beatrice Schreiber and other members of the Board to the official launch of the Wolf Spirit Films on November 2, 2019. Since Beatrice couldn’t make it, Susanne Ziehr, our Entertainment Director, and two of her friends, Hilde & Sharon, attended this fun event.

The doors opened at 7pm – where they all had time to enjoy the indigenous snacks and socialize – then the movie began at 8 pm (at latest) and ended at 10pm. As Susanne said “We all thought that the event was exceptionally well presented and organized. All the different parts and details came together beautifully (setting, introductions, film clips and documentary and the dancing was definitely the icing on the cake!)”

“Beyond Human Power” is now on CBC GEM. Here is the link: https://cbcgem.app/ifiS

If you think there is enough interest from the German Canadian Business Association (GCBA) membership, perhaps we can discuss planning a GCBA event? If our members are interested, please contact Elke at: secretary@germancanadianbusiness.com/

Original Invitation:

I am writing to you today to ensure that you received our personal invitation to attend a special evening to celebrate The Official Launch of Wolf Spirit Films on November 2, 2019 at The Museum of Anthropology.  We’ve heard that some of the invitations ended up in spam folders, so we are providing you with the text from the invitation below.

We are film-makers and storytellers; and are passionate about the power of creative media to inform and inspire.  For us, we want to share First Nations stories, its culture, in a way that helps build bridges of understanding between indigenous and non-indigenous cultures.  Our mandate is to share stories about resilience, empowerment and healing.

We are thrilled that several key government, business and community leaders from the Yukon will be flying down for our event and hope you’ll join us! If you have already RSVP’ed, please excuse the duplication.

Here is the Invitation we sent you in text form:
You and a guest are invited to a private screening of our new films: “Beyond Human Power” under the ancient totem poles.
Experience a live performance of Yukon’s internationally renown, award-winning dancers Dakhká Khwáan Dancers.

Sample indigenous snacks including northern moose and soapberry punch.

Celebrate the official launch of Wolf Spirit Films, meet our creators, and get a sneak peek at our future projects.

Please join us at The Museum of Anthropology
