United Voices Choir Vancouver: Listen to a Masterpiece
The United Voices Choir Vancouver is an inclusive, auditioned choir performing major choral works with orchestras and soloists. Directed by Dr. Greg Caisley, the choir has showcased masterpieces by composers like Bach, Mozart, Brahms, and Vivaldi. Their recent performances include Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem and Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42 in fall 2022, Cherubini’s Requiem in C and Rheinberger’s Mass in C in spring 2023, and Handel’s Messiah in Christmas 2023. Now, the choir is excited to present Bach’s Mass in B Minor in 2024.

United Voices Choir Vancouver includes approximately 60 members of various ages, from young adults to retirees. Members rehearse on Tuesday evenings from September to May at St. Paul’s Anglican Church.

Bach’s Mass in B Minor is a musical masterpiece, featuring intricate fugues, powerful choruses, and elegant duets. Written at the height of Bach’s genius, this work is beloved by music enthusiasts worldwide. Professional soloists will include:

- Jillian Tam (soprano 2)
- Jonathan Michel (tenor)
- Erik Kallo (countertenor)
- David Rosborough (bass)

- Saturday, June 1st, 2 pm at Pacific Spirit United Church, Kerrisdale
- Sunday, June 2nd, 7 pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, West End
